Nanette DeWester brings to CCB Communications over 10 years experience coaching Media, Presentation, and Communication skills. She has prepared dozens of high profile clients for national television and radio appearances such as: The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Daily Show, and Charlie Rose.
Her clients include Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Jhumpa Lahiri, real estate entrepreneur Barbara Corcoran, Curves CEO Gary Heavin, Nobel Prize Winner, Paul Krugman, and #1 bestselling author Sue Monk Kid. Her corporate clients range from Fortune 500 Senior Executives to non-profit support staff in companies such as Amgen, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Google, Barclays Capital, Bank of America, Citigroup, The Federal Reserve, Campbells, Pearson Education, and UNICEF.
Nanette’s training strategy is to focus on an engaging style of communication that emphasizes the speakers’ connection to their topic. This enables her clients to consistently deliver convincing messages that are heard. Of special interest to Nanette is her current work with Innovation and Creativity and using improv as well as brainstorming techniques for idea generation and performance growth. Additionally, Nanette has created a Storytelling and Leadership course which focuses on how a skillfully told narrative creates a compelling reason to believe both the message and the mission.
Nanette began training after a career as a professional actor performing on stage and television, and as an improviser with such companies as Second City. She then worked with Mt. Sinai’s Morchand Center teaching communication skills to physicians and medical students. Afterward, she developed a unique training approach that’s well suited for all “improvised” public speaking formats. She continues her work in improv and creativity with her corporate clients by specializing in coursework that fosters innovative thinking and the use of creativity for developing new products, ideas, and solutions.
Nanette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.

Johanna Treffy brings a contagious energy into the room as well as a passion to deliver clear and concise outcomes that impact her clients after she’s left. Johanna joins CCB Communications building on her experience at rogenSi as a consultant and coach in Presentation and Communication Skills. As a top sales performer at Bloomberg L.P. she cultivated key relationships by servicing the top 10 bulge bracket banks and foreign banks in NYC.
In addition to her sales and investment banking background, she brings to her clients a deep understanding of the Asian culture with a fluency in Japanese, having lived and worked in Japan for 4 years. She has a diverse background working with all levels of the banking architecture from back office, to sales and trading, asset management and the C-suite. This wide exposure has given her a strong understanding of the structure and high-demands of financial professionals. She is well-versed in building strong relationships and communicating at all levels.
Before spending 8 years as a Senior Relationship Manager at Bloomberg L.P., she taught English and cultural-awareness in Japan. Johanna is passionate about fostering personal development and helping her clients enhance their persuasive communication skills to become more effective. Johanna has worked with JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, NYSE and Citi. Her diverse experience extends beyond the finance industry, having worked extensively with Deloitte and Ralph Lauren.
Johanna resides in New York City. Apart from Japanese she is also fluent in Spanish and French. She is a 3-time NYC Triathlete and has travelled to over 60 countries. Johanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
